This term was used in the lands of Abruzzo to indicate the bands woven on a loom with natural colored yarns – such as ford – that women used to shorten the long and sumptuous skirts when they went to the fields.
Two azzaccaratore have been applied to the suede, indago and melange carpet, woven on a loom specially for this work by Assunta Perilli, a weaver from Abruzzo, an authentic icon of resilience, who courageously reopened her laboratory in the rubble of Campotosto
